ORIGINS OF FAMILY OFFICE

In 1838, the family of financier and fine art collector J.P.Morgan founded an institution dedicated to the management of family assets,
House of Morgan.

What is a family office?
There is no universal definition of a family office. The earliest similar structures were observed in the sixth century when the kings’ stewards were responsible for the management of the royal family’s estate. The concept similar to the modern family office was created in the nineteenth century. In 1838, the family of financier and fine art collector J.P.Morgan founded an institution responsible for the management of family assets (House of Morgan). In 1882, the Rockefeller family established a family office, which is still in existence today, providing its commercial services to other ultra-affluent families.
 
There is no universal definition of a family office. It is our ambition to get to know the family and their needs to provide a tailor-made offer.

Marta Szymanik-Ochyra
Warsaw School of Economics graduate with a degree in Finance and Banking. She also studied finance at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in the Netherlands. Over 10 years of experience in advisory and managerial positions in the private banking sector. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA).
Anna Przybyszewska
Wrocław University of Economics graduate. Manager with more than 10 years of experience in the financial sector - insurance guarantee department in PZU S.A. She has participated in transactions to the value of a few hundred million PLN.
Przemysław Szpak
Wrocław University of Economics graduate with a degree in Finance and Banking. He has 12 years of experience in revenue management, business development and sales in Poland, Egypt, Dubai and Mauritius. He was honoured with the title of the Best Revenue Manager in Africa in 2015.
